Title: "Girls Rolling Cigars"

This is an early painting on a rather large box that was inspired by Hemmingway's story of the Cuban virgins that rolled cigars on their inner thighs. The colors are very bright with the red blanket contrasting highly to the lush greens of the tropical jungle setting. The three young girls are very relaxed, more like they are having a picnic as they roll their cigars.
